Coffee commodities refer to coffee as a commodity that is traded on global financial markets. Coffee is one of the most important and widely traded agricultural commodities around the world. There are different types of coffee traded as commodities, based on their origin, quality and specific characteristics: Arabica Coffee: It is a variety of coffee known for its superior quality and milder flavor. Arabica coffee is grown at higher altitudes, generally between 600 and 2,000 meters, in regions such as Central America, South America, East Africa and Asia. Robusta Coffee: It is a variety of coffee known for its stronger flavor and higher caffeine content compared to Arabica coffee. Robusta coffee is grown in regions with a warmer climate and at low altitudes, mainly in Africa, Asia and Brazil.

Coffee is a widely consumed commodity across the world and is mainly used in the production of beverages such as roasted and ground coffee, instant coffee, espresso and other coffee-based drinks. Furthermore, coffee is also used in food products such as chocolates, ice cream, sweets and baked goods.
